Seema Khatri

Seema is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion,
curiosity, and care. She understands the weight of feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression,
emotional numbness, or overwhelm, especially when shaped by family expectations, cultural
identity, and systemic stressors. Seema offers a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can
speak openly and explore their experiences without feeling rushed, dismissed, or misunderstood.

Through experience in crisis counseling, suicide prevention, and education, Seema brings a calm,
grounded presence to her work. She understands that people often carry stress, responsibility, and
emotional weight that goes unseen and works collaboratively with clients to explore what feels
heavy, while also identifying inner strengths and resilience. She believes each client’s story is
meaningful and deserves to be honored with care and respect.

Seema’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.
She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), thoughtfully tailoring treatment to each
client’s needs and pace. Her goal is to support clients in cultivating greater self-compassion,
clarity, and empowerment as they move toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic.
